FRIED DOUGH, ONE of the fair’s most popular food choices, could be found at several locations on the fairgrounds. There were lots of options for those who wanted to sample seasonal delicacies — like ribs, fudge and deep-fried Oreos — yearly at the Addison County Fair and Field Days last week.

Pint-sized pals Lindsey Kourafas and Morgan Small of Highland Park could teach celebrity chef Emeril “Bam!” Lagasse a thing or two about kicking things up a notch. Small and Kourafas, both 8, are making their high-energy debut on the Kidz Kitchen section of KidzClix.net – demonstrating how to assemble, bake and eat miniature cheesecake treats.
