A really simple chocolate dessert recipe is chocolate fondue. Let your guests go to town dipping an assortment of fruits, cakes, cookies, and nuts into a nice fondue. Don’t limit your dippings to fruit. Cut up an assortment of bite-sized bits of cakes, brownies, candies, marshmallows, even cheesecakes.

Spicing Up Some Favorites

Create a layered chocolate cake, alternating layers of caramel sauce and homemade whipped peanut butter topping, served with vanilla ice cream.

Frozen Chocolate Dessert Recipes

Which Chocolate Bar Shall I Choose?

Guide - The largest chocolate bar ever made weighed over 5,000 pounds and was made in Italy in 2000. The largest slab of fudge was over 2,000 pounds and was made in Canada.

We see everyday superhuman efforts by people, the miners trapped under ground for two weeks in Tasmania, the guy who was trapped in a landslide at Thredbo and had his wife die next to him. What gave these people the strength to endure these horrific situations? The power of their mind. They kept a vision of being rescued and what was going to happen in the future, it was this vision and the belief and faith in their vision that got them through. Because of their absolute vision and their belief they got through and were eventually rescued.

Guide - Several medical studies show that eating chocolate in moderation can actually prolong your life by reducing risk of blood clots and fighting bad cholestorol.

These short term visions and the faith are so powerful yet we do not use them in our day to day life. We would much rather muddle along stressing out and bulldozing our way through, when all we need to do is stop, take a breath, and visualize our situation. We then paint the picture and an outcome that suits us. Before you get carried away, this is not easy. Doing it and getting small results will give you the belief. However if you are not in total belief and ready to receive, things will not work out. The reason being, you are not giving a clear signal and the Formless Wonder will not know exactly what you want, and therefore will give you what you do not want.

Guide - The average American eats 10-12 pounds (4.5 kg) of chocolate a year.

The reason that the people that were trapped in life threatening situations, are so clear in their wants, is purely and simply they had no alternatives. That is a great way of focusing the mind. It is similar to giving sweets to the kids. Say you had four children and four different chocolate bars, they draw lots and get to choose the bar of their choice. For the first three children this is a real problem because they have a choice, as soon as they have chosen, they start having doubts, as to whether this was the best bar to take, it becomes easier as the bars disappear. For the final kid there is no choice, his situation is therefore very easy because he has not got to think, the others have done all the work. The final child had no choices therefore it was easy for him, but he may not have received the bar of his preference.

Guide - In 1842 Cadbury’s in England created the worlds first chocolate bar.

We have more choices if we just focus and believe NOW. Remember we do not have to draw lots to decide when it is our turn to choose, but as with the chocolate bars, if you procrastinate your choices start disappearing. Most people leave focusing and creating a positive vision too late. They wait until they have no choice. At any time the first kid could have changed his mind before selecting, but at some point he had to make his decision. Providing that he has given it full consideration he will have no regrets, but if he has selected without any thought he will be wondering if he had made the right selection and these are the confused signals that we send out when we are not clear as to what we want. It is much better to create your vision when things are going well, rather than waiting until you are desperate.

Guide - Choose quality over quantity. If you are going to eat chocolate, eat really good chocolate.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Kiss Cookies

Guide - ‘If you are not feeling well, if you have not slept, chocolate will revive you.

We have loved these cookies for years. Not only do we make them throughout the year, but it’s always fun to receive them too.

Ingredients:

1 ¾ cups flour
1 teaspoons baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup butter (softened)
½ cup creamy peanut butter
½ cup sugar
½ cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons milk
Additional sugar for rolling
Enough chocolate kisses to add one per cookie

Guide - Choose organic chocolates. Certified organic chocolate ensures there are no harmful pesticide residues.

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking soda and salt.
Add the butter and the peanut butter and mix until smooth.
Add white and brown sugars and mix until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, vanilla and milk and mix until smooth.
Shape dough into balls and roll in sugar.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart and bake for 8 minutes.
Remove from oven and add 1 kiss to the center of each cookie.
Return to the oven and bake for 1-2 more minutes.
We really like peanut butter, so will sometimes add a bit more. If you don’t want such a strong peanut butter taste, use a bit less peanut butter.
You can also add food dye to the cookie dough. At the various holidays you can make different colored cookies. For Valentines Day, add red food coloring. For Christmas, make one batch of red cookies and one batch of green cookies. If you celebrate Hanukah, add blue food coloring to the dough. We have also used a peanut M&M instead of a chocolate kiss in the center of the cookie.
We prepare batches of these for bake sales, pot luck gatherings and to give as gifts throughout the year.

Guide - When you begin eating chocolate, make sure you do it one bite at a time. This is important.
